what kind of vegs and fruits are good for a prgnant hamster??
Answers:
carots probably
Carrots, celery, apples, grapes.NO citrus (oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits, etc...too much acid). Nuts are also good, as is a little bit of cheese (not too much, because of the fat). Good luck!
Be sure to only feed fruit in moderation as it is high in sugar and can cause illness. Dark leafy greens are great, such as romain lettuce (no iceburg).
Also introduce veggies slowly, you don't want to cause diarreah if the ham isn't used to eating a lot of veggies.
The best thing to have a pregnant rodent on is lab blocks as they are nutritionally complete with the correct nutrients, and you know she is not picking out favorite seeds.
Here is a list of safe veggies.
