Two new rats, even more questions!?

is ten weeks old a normal age to buy rats? their really quite big!
Answers:
hi there hun
yes 10 weeks ia a good age to buy rats, although you can buy them at 6 weeks, 10 weeks means their that bit bigger and youll be less nervous and so will they
feed them a good dry mix [ google shumanite diet, really excellent] and plenty of extras fresh stuff.EVERY DAY. at 10 weeks they still need loads of protein to help them reach full potential so feed
scrambled eggs[no milk]
boiled eggs [ just crack the shell and let them have fun]curlykale,
spinach,
broccolli,
fish either fresh cooked or tinned in spring water or tomato sauce[leave any bones in]
chicken drumsticks or wings [ on the bone its good for them]
couscous, rice, pasta[ dried or cooked for these three]
pak choi
peas[fresh or frozen]
sweetcorn [tinned fresh or frozen not dried, dried CAN possibly harbour a fungus and i always say safe not sorry]]
beans [tinned or dried and cooked according to instructions
soya beans [always cooked]
nuts, either shelled or unshelled [never salted ones though] unshelled may have to be cracked a little to get them going
banana
avocado[skinned and de stoned]
NEVER FEED BOY RATS ANY FORM OF CITRUS FRUIT[ORANGES, CLEMENTINES, LEMONS ETC] OR MANGO

You can start buying rats at 6 weeks.
Hey Hunny.
Dont worry 10 weeks old aww how cute they are babies hehe.
Make sure you feed your rats some good rat food and suply them with abit of veg/friut now and then.
What do you want ats for they are vermin.
i got my rats at six weeks and i thought they were big until i saw the mother and father they were huge so ten weeks is still pretty small. they become full size after a year my baby and her sis is about over 15 months and she is still small so don't worry and make your own mixture of food... use like.. oats, rat blocks and other stuff like that don't buy the stuff in a bag because it has stuff in it that is not good for a rats like dried corn and food dies.

Good luck to you and your new baby rats =)
any age over six weeks is normal to buy them at. my first rat was 5 months old when i got him. my next one was four weeks but already weaned, and my third boy was 2.5 months.
yeh thats normal, i bought mine at about that age, they cant be sold untill they are at the very least 6 weeks old so thats a good age =]
yes this ok
