What are some neat ideas for hamster beds or toys besides a toliet paper roll or towel roll??

here are some cool website about rodent bedding and creativity for them hope this site help you out. hope i help out i just remember when i give my nieces hamster for Easter my oldest nice made a little couch with twigs in it and they hamster would put the the bedding material on and slept on it very cute and creative the younger one give hers a sock that had holes that hamster was always in the sock when i came to visit i am honesty not sure the sock was smart or not but it was cute.

I went to the pet store and looked in the fish section. Sometimes you can find piriate ships, skulls, and other cool things that your hamster can play on/around or nest in.

my sister has a gerbil and she puts newspaper in there, it is sheredded, but not to bits, just torn lengthwise, the gerbil spends hours a day shredding it up and making a nice neat warm bed for herself. it's fun to watch.

tomite i put a kleenex box in my hamsters cage, gave him some strips of news paper and a toilet paper roll, he shredded some newspaper, put it in the box, made him self another little bed and put the kleenex roll as a tunnel into the box, he was very creative! try that it works good =]

Most soft tissues or clothe make great bedding material.For general litter most pet shop brands are pretty good.As for a toy best thing I ever found was a leather ball.The hamster went crazy try to move it around.

Well mine either just sleeps in the bedding or I got this edible hut and he piles all of his food in there then he sleeps with it!!
