What are the signs of a female gerbil going into labor?

Me and my sister recently bought two female gerbils from a local pet store. Their names are Mei and Satsuki. Satsuki, being the only other adult female gerbil besides Mei,was pregnet.I was wondering if you can tell when a gerbils is going to go into labor and how to help her if there are any complications.
Answers:
You can tell at about 2 days before the event. She will start to look really pear-shaped. She will be more tired than usual. She will look very uncomfortable and do a lot of stretching and rolling around when she tries to lie down.
If it helps here are a couple of pictures of my gerbil, Shandy, the day before she gave birth the second time:

Her Ladyship. So cute.
She finds a place to build up the saw dust to protect her naked new born pinkies.
Keep the cage really clean and provide enough food for both of them so that the other female doesn't attack the pinkies.
