Well at night my hamster escaped?

ok well at night time my hamster got out of his cage some how and i dont know where he would be hiding in my house. does anyone know where he might be hiding?
Answers:
whenever my hamster gets lost, i dont look for it because at evening, they wake up and start running around. i usually just end up finding it by accident. but my first tiem it got lost, i made a big deal out of it and read somewhere that i could put food in each room, and i listened to see if i heard the hamster chewing. check each room ever 5-10 minutes. make sure you're not watching tv or listening to anything just in case your hamster is eating so you can hear it. the hamster can survive at least 2 days without food and water, one of my hamster was lost for 2 days.
In your cat's stomach.
Probably in a nice dark corner. Put a box out with some yummy hamster food and see if he comes out.
P.S. buy a new cage when you find him
I'd put some food out that he likes and try to keep everyone quiet. Try looking in tight dark spaces like underneath the fridge or behind the clothes dryer. Good luck!
Look behind the couch, under the beds and dressers, and if you have a nice, messy, dark closet, check there too. Whenever mine got loose, I would find him under the couch or in my closet. Good luck!
all hammys love fruit and i helped my cousin find hers and we just took some yummy apples grapes a few other ymmuy stuff and made a trail of the on the ground the room she thought she was in.we both got on the bed and made a squeaky typwe noise like hamsters make.sure enough here comes the hammy after awhile sittin there eatin the food because they strong nosies this works the best!!

good luck!!
omg this happend to me. mine was in the wall. when we finally got her out she was soo skinny and dusty. tonight set out 7 piles of his favorite treat or food. in diffrent areas of the house. tonight when its dark laydown and turn off all the lights. it has to be pitch black. hamsters are awake at night. and listen for squeaks and scratches. if you cant find him then wait till morning and look at the little piles to see if any food has been taken. also until you find him use EXTREAME caution when opening doors and walking around as not to step on him and smush him. especially when you open doors to go outside. he could get out. and you will never get him back. if he is in the wall you have to tear out a chunk in the wall to get him out. if you dont find him in time you will no cuz your house will smell.bad. where everhis cage is look around there first. the if you have other pets unfortunitly they need to be crated up as to not chase and kill your hammy if they find him. good luck
Hamsters store food in their cheeks. Look for food around at the base of the wall of any room. All rodents never run across the middle of a room, always around the perimeter. After losing my hamster for a week, this is how found mine. If you have basebord covers, try removing those too, thats how I found my daugters pet mouse. Another thing is listen for noises when the house is quiet.
Oh great! This has happened to me several times! I used to breed them! As you know, they usually sleep all day then are active at night. The best thing to do is put the cage on the floor in the room where it got out and hold the door open with a clothespin or something. Hopefully, it will recognize it's cage and go back in! Everyone in the household needs to be extra cautious and make certain to keep the toilet lid down, both washer and drier doors shut and water out of the tubs and sinks. You should soon find it unless you have a cat or dog and they find it first!
No, but I know how to catch him.

there is 1billion places he could b hiding, at night, turn off all your electronics, make sure everyone in ur house is quiet, place a piece of foil in every room, they have to move, and when they do, you'll hear it!
hop it helps!
Well most likely he would be in a dark place in the house like the basement. NOT BY ANYWHERE WET. It could be in the kitchen because there is food there. Bathrooms are comment because there is many holes in bathrooms like drains and such. Hamsters can fit into pretty much anything. So try covering holes, drains, and cracks in your house. Close all closets, doors, vents, and windows. Good luck finding your hamster.
Mine did the same thing, and I found them bhind my dresser one time and then in my closet
