Wear will i be able to get my guinea pig nails trimmed?

we will not go to the vet either to get them done.he charges like 200!!
Answers:
Your vet does not charge $200 for a nail trim.
You can use regular human nail clippers. If you are scared about cutting to short, hold the feet over a light (flashlight, maybe) and you can see the quick easily and know where to stop. You could also put a brick in their cage. It might help them file their own nails down a bit, but probably not. My guys just jump over their brick.
do them your self but have someone hold it and only clip to the white part. they dont feel it.
do it yourself..it's so easy asyou know..click this link

...but when you are cutting a guinea pig's teeth...
go to a vet!
The best thing to do would be doing them yourself. It's best to get a pair of rabbit clippers, but regular sharp nail clippers will do fine. Some pigs require one person to hold him while the other clips, and some will let you clip while you let them munch on treats! You need bright light so you can see how far the blood goes into the nail, and clip it a millimeter or two past it. It saves money and is easy once you get the hang of it!
I agree with Memphisgal. A) your vet does not charge 200 and B) you can do it yourself. Memphisgal gave you the correct instructions. Here is a site to help:

I will bet you that your vet only charges about $5-$10 for a guinea pig nail trim. You can do it yourself either with regular nail clippers, or with ones specially made for rodents, cats, dogs, etc.. that you can buy at the pet store. Make sure you clip the white-ish nail and do not clip all the way down to the pink "wick". If you cut this part, the nail will bleed profusely and you will need to take the pig to the vet. If your pis is black and has black nails, I recommend going to the vet.
You can do it yourself (though probably with the help of a friend). Get human or small animal nail clippers and gently clip of the tip of the nails
